We have the pleasure to invite you to a special mathematical day to celebrate Pierre Rosenstiehl on his 80th birthday.
The programme will feature also lectures by Robert Cori, founder and director of LaBRI (Bordeaux), Patrice Ossona de Mendez, a close collaborator of Pierre Rosenstiehl and his colleague at EHESS, as well as a lecture by Jaroslav Nešetřil, with whom Pierre Rosenstiehl shares love for Art.
Why labyrinth?
Labyrinths are a longstanding interest of Pierre Rosenstiehl, which evolved in his book “Le labyrinthe des jours ordinaires” published by a prestigious Parisian publisher Le Seuil (2013).
The lectures are devoted to broad mathematical and computer science audience, but also to people interested in design, architecture and philosophy of science in general.
